THE NEW
APOSTLES
THE NEW APOSTLES AND PROPHETS SAY THEY ARE EQUAL TO
THE Old Testament PROPHETS AND New Testament APOSTLES.
C. Peter Wagner is the founder of this movement. Rick Joyner, Mike Bickle of IHOP, Bill
Hammond and Dutch Sheets are some of the major ‘apostles’ working directly
working under him.
Their organization is called
the ICA, international coalition of
apostles. There are 500
major apostles in ICA. Each of
these professing apostles validates each other as to their apostleship. Other minor
apostles work under them.
They believe in what they
call THE Apostolic succession. The truth is that the The
apostles never appointed successors. Nothing
like this is referred to in the Bible.
1 Corinthians 12:29 talks
about New Testament apostles. The fact
is that modern day apostles are not the same as the original 12 apostles in the new
testament.
THE ‘NEW’ APOSTLES say they have the same Apostolic
anointing as the original NEW Testament apostles. They say they are superior to Paul, David, Peter,
James, John because they believe they have a higher revelation from the Holy
Ghost.
The Bible says that THE NEW JERUSALEM will have the
names of the Twelve Apostles in the twelve foundations of the New Jerusalem, Rev 21:14. The
names of PETER WAGNER, RICK JOYNER,
MIKE BICKLE, and their self-appointed apostles names WILL NOT BE IN the
foundation of the New Jerusalem! There
are only 12 foundations, not 500. Even
though the Gifts of the Spirit are for today, these men are not on the same
plane as the Twelve who gave us the New Testament and are operating by ‘another
spirit’. 2 Cor. 11:4.
THE NEW APOSTLES BELIEVE THEY ARE TO
GOVERN THE CHURCH
They say doctrines divide and
call for Unity. It is apparent that their purpose for calling for this
unity is so all Christian leaders will come under them as being the heads, the
final governing authority of Christianity and interpreting scriptures.
The new apostles are preaching Unity at all costs, including pUTTING ASIDE SOUND DOCTRINE. tHEY ARE SAYING, ‘Unify or else!” They are literally
intimidating Christians to come under them. They boycott preachers who refuse
to come under their authority. This is very similar to the Roman Church of the
Middle Ages which was totally intolerant of Christians being outside the Roman
Church.
They use Ephesians 2:20 to
establish their credibility for this.
“And are built upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief
corner stone;” KJV
Their emphasis is on the
apostles. What this scripture is referring to is the church is built on the
foundation of the scriptures given by the apostles and prophets, the Bible,
with Christ being the cornerstone.
Isa 9:6 “For unto us a child
is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder:” KJV
The church is built on christ
and the biblE. The bible is the law of
god. Psa. 1
Matt 16:16-18 “And Simon
Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the
living God. …And I say also unto thee,
That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;
and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” KJV
The ‘new’ apostles are doing
the exact same thing that the Roman Church has done with this scripture, saying
the Church was built on the apostle Peter and not
built on Christ. Now
the ‘new’ apostles are doing virtually the same thing, saying the Church is now
built on them.
‘New’ Apostles see themselves
as guardians of apostlic truth. That is not
true! The NEW TESTAMENT is the
guardian of Apostolic Truth.

Peter 1:20-21 “Knowing this first, that
no prophecy of the scripture is of any private. For the prophecy came not in
old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by
the Holy Ghost.” KJV
They say that theY greatest
generation of apostles and prophets who ever lived. THEY say that they ARE EVEN greater than the ORIGINAL 12 Apostles
and the oLD tESTAMENT prophets. Without a doubt,
they are a legend in their own minds, virtual egomaniacs. John the Baptist said about
Jesus, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Jesus said that there was not a greater man than John the
Baptist. These ‘new’ apostles can’t
compare to John the Baptist. They want
to increase at the expense of decreasing Jesus.
Prov 16:18 “Pride goeth before destruction , and an
haughty spirit before a fall.” KJV
Matt 5:3 “Blessed are the
poor inspirit: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven.”
Matt 11:29 “..learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:” KJV
Lk 20:46 Jesus said, “BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES, which
desire to walk in LONG ROBES and
love greetings in the markets, and the HIGH
SEATS in the synagogues, and the CHIEF
ROOMS AT FEASTS; which DEVOUR WIDOWS
HOUSES: and FOR A SHEW MAKE LONG
PRAYERS: the same shall have greater
damnation.”
Great leaders of the past,
Wesley, Luther, etc., never called themselves apostles. Today
in most of the Charismatic Movement, IF YOU ARE NOT AN APOSTLE OR PROPHET, YOU
ARE NOTHING. Little attention is given to the evangelist, pastor or
teacher.
It’s interesting that these SELF
APPOINTED PROPHETS and APOSTLES love to use big titles. Elijah, Paul and
the other prophets and apostles didn’t use big titles.
The ‘new’ apostles claim Elijah’s mantle. Yet they have never parted the waters nor done
anything close to Elijah. They extol Kenneth Hagan and believe he was a
prophet.
They talk about
the third wave of the holy ghost.
Peter Wagner says he
believes in the Holy Ghost but not in
tongues as the initial evidence. This is the same as the
mainline denominational pastors believe.
Wagner is a Presbyterian.
The ‘new’ apostles are apart of the LATTER RAIN
MOVEMENT which sprung up in the 40’s and went through the 60’s. William
Branham, John G. Lake and Paul Cain were part of this movement.
THEY EMPHASIZE THEIR ANOINTING, THEIR
POWER, NOT THE ANOINTED ONE, CHRIST.
They see themselves as the
spiritually elite, the
enlightened ones, who ‘have the spirit without measure’. They believe they are spiritually superior
to everyone else.
They teach that the five fold
ministry is now
totally restored to perfection and is now a complete with visible unity under
them.
The Latter Rain Movement
teaches that apostles and prophets must be restored. They call themselves Restorationists, THUS THE NAME ‘THE APOSTOLIC REFORMATION’.
GOD TALKS TO THEM
One of their major tell-tale signs of the new apostles
and prophets is that they say GOD TALKS TO THEM AND THEY SEE GOD.
They say that they hear the
audible voice of God, and that God directly communicates with
them, His apostles and prophets. They often say, GOD TOLD ME and some of
them claim to see God the Father FACE TO
FACE.
Jesus said regarding the FATHER on this issue…
Jn 5:37 ‘NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME NOR
SEEN HIS SHAPE”
For
those who say they have seen God, either they have had a counterfeit occultic
experience or they are outright lying, according to what Jesus said.
IT
WAS NOT THE FATHER TALKING TO THE OLD TESTAMENT PROPHETS. IT WAS JESUS, ‘THE WORD’. JN 1.
Ex
3:14 “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM : and he said, Thus shalt
thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”
John
8:58 “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was,
I am.”
WHAT
ABOUT THE VOICE FROM HEAVEN?
Matt
3:17 “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am
well pleased.” KJV
Mt.
1:18 “When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came
together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.”
Jesus
was conceived in Mary by the Holy Ghost.
Remember, the Holy Ghost is a part of the Godhead. The Godhead works together in unison.
John’s
Revelation Rev 1:10 “I was in the Spirit
on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a
great voice, as of a trumpet,” KJV
This
does not say John audibly heard the voice.
It says that he was ‘IN THE
SPIRIT’ when he heard it.
Paul
said, 2 Cor 12:3 “And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the
body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)” KJV
The fact is, it was the Lord communicating with his spirit.
*The
Lord definitely can and does speak to us in our spirits, but people today do
not literally physically hear the voice of God. We can definitely hear from God
though His Word and be led by the Spirit.
The Lord definitely speaks to our inner man.
Rom 8:14 “For as many as
are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” KJV
THE ‘NEW’ APOSTLES EMPHAZIZE THE GIFTS OF THE
SPIRIT. 1 Co. 12. We know the Gifts
of the Spirit are real. The problem is
their abuse.
The ‘new’ apostles and
prophets misuse scriptures and Gifts to take control God’s people. One scripture they like to use to control
is…
Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God will do nothing , but he revealeth his secret unto his servants
the prophets.” KJV
The Bible’s warning against
saying ‘God told me’, when he did not speak.
*Ezekiel 13:2-9 “Son of
man, PROPHESY AGAINST THE PROPHETS of Israel that PROPHESY, and say unto them
THAT PROPHESY OUT OF THEIR OWN HEARTS,
Hear
ye the word of the Lord God;
Thus saith the Lord God;
WOE UNTO THE FOOLISH PROPHETS, THAT FOLLOW THEIR OWN SPIRIT, AND HAVE SEEN
NOTHING! O Israel, THY PROPHETS are like the foxes in the deserts.”

THE LORD SAITH: AND THE LORD
HATH NOT SENT THEM: and they HAVE MADE

*10 “…THEY HAVE SEDUCED MY PEOPLE…”
THEY say that
they SEE JESUS physically in person
Kenneth Hagin claims to have
seen Jesus physically eight times, even in his bedroom.
Regarding this, Jesus warned
in Mt 24:26 “If they say he (Christ) is in the desert, go not; if he (Christ)
is in THE SECRET PLACE (bedroom), BELIEVE IT NOT”.
Matt 24:23 “Then if any
man shall say unto you, Lo,
here is Christ, or
there; believe it not.” KJV
The Twelve Apostles who were
with Jesus saw Him in the flesh even up to and after the resurrection when He
appeared to them and audibly talked to them, 1 Co
15:3. The Apostle
Paul had an encounter with Jesus on the Damascus Road. There are no other biblical records of
people physically seeing or audibly hearing Jesus talk after He ascended to
heaven.
*I believe people can and do
have visions of Jesus, but according to what Jesus said, they do not physically
see Him now.
They SPIRITUALIZE
SCRIPTURES and teach the scriptures
don’t literally mean what they say.
When Jesus spoke in parables
He made it clear it was a parable, otherwise He spoke straight forward.
In the name of the Deeper life and revelation of the holy ghost, the
‘new’ apostles give scriptures bizarre meanings. The effect of this is that
the Bible can mean anything you want it to.
It has no absolute meaning.
Words mean nothing. In effect,
there is no absolute truth.
They say sometimes God often BYpasses the mind, that we don’t need to understand.
Matthew
22:37 “Love the Lord your heart and soul and you're mind.”
Prov 3:13 “Happy is the man
that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.”
2 Tim 2:7 “Consider what I
say; and the Lord give thee understanding
in all things.” KJV
If you don’t understand you
can be manipulated and misused.
ONE Of theSE ‘NEW’ APOSTLES referS
to bible doctrines as Old wine skins. Can you imagine such a frontal attack on the Bible?
They say that we don't
need a doctrinal police force. They call Bible doctrine baggage.
2 John 10 “If there come any
unto you, and bring not this doctrine
, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:” KJV
Acts 2:42, “…continued in the apostles doctrine”,
2 Jn 9 says,
“He that hath not the doctrine of Christ hath not god”
one of the ‘NEW’ APOSTLES,
Chuck Pierce, has said that the new apostles and prophets are on a higher level
of inspiration than the New Testament Scriptures.
He justifies this by saying that they have the same Holy Ghost that they had.
This sounds like GNOSTICISM, which means a higher knowledge than the Bible. In the name of the Holy Ghost and
spirituality, pagan gnosticism infiltrated some of the early Church. Gnosticism is the foundation of
Luciferianism which exalts Lucifer as ‘the benevolent god’, and demeans Adonai
as being ‘the mean judging god’, because He has laws.
Because of this gnostic type
attitude towards the Bible, they have taken the liberty to bring about their
own revelations and doctrines into Christianity,
even contradicting and defying scriptures.
Some of them deny the Trinity; the blood atonement, and the
inerrancy of the Scriptures. Some of
them claim to even communicate with the dead:
past prophets, apostles or evangelists and even claim to get their anointing
from them. The Bible calls this ‘necromancy’
and forbids this practice.
Deut 18:11-12 “…a consulter
with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord:” KJV
But these ‘new’ apostles,
believe they are exempt from these scriptures, because they believe that they the
‘new’ apostles and prophets are now the final authority even above the Bible,
the mediators between men and God. Again, they are taking Christ’s place.
1 Tim 2:5 “For there is one
God, and one mediator between God and
men, the man Christ Jesus;” KJV

They teach that the ‘Common
man‘ can't understand Scriptures without them, the apostles and prophets. This emulates the teachings of the Catholic Church
during the Middle Ages when it outlawed the Bible by saying that the ‘common
man’ could not understand the scriptures without the learned priests.
They Manipulate the Bible in the name of
Revelation, Rhema, and put Rhema above logos, the written Word of God,
the Bible. Now logos doesn’t judge or
try rhema, but rhema judges AND TRIES logos. They are
continually finding fault with the Bible, saying it is full of errors.
2 Peter 1:20 “Knowing this

ONE OF THE MAIN WAYS The
‘new’ apostles deceive IS by giving sound doctrinal statements, but IN PRACTICe
teach AND DO opposite THEIR STATEMENT OF FAITH.
To these ‘new’ apostles the
Scriptures have no objective
meaning. They speak about revelation, The Deeper Life,
mysticism and illumination which comes from the occult and the New Age. They
spiritualize the scriptures to absurdity until their meanings are completely
lost and the Bible becomes a farce.
They SAY THAT THEY ARE
continually HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD, AUDIBLY AND SPIRITUALLY,
even when WHAT THEY SAY god is say disagrees with the Bible.
They believe that their
Prophecies are equal to the Scriptures IN AUTHORITY. IN OTHER
WORDS, THEIR WORDS ARE PART OF AN OPEN
CANON. They believe that their words
are equal to scripture. They believe
their words are literally ‘the Word of God’.
Tommy Tenney in his book
the ‘God chasers’ says we don't want to just study from the moldy
pages of what God has done. What Tenney is saying is that we need to go
OUTSIDE THE BIBLE to learn about God. In not so subtle a way Tenney is calling the Bible
‘moldy pages’ or irrelevant. What an
insult to God’s Word!
They believe THAT the Bible
has many errors and use many CORRUPT TRANSLATIONS. They despise the KJV. (See

THEY SAY THEY ARE LIKE THE OLD TESTAMENT PROPHETS, but don’t want the accountability that the Old
Testament prophets had.
Deuteronomy 18:20-22
says, “if a prophet prophesies falsely
he is to be put to death.” They do not see that they are accountable
to the Bible. Since ‘God is talking to them and the Lord is never wrong, therefore they are never wrong even when they disagree with the scriptures.
You cannot question the anointed
ones. They do not believe in the
sufficiency of the Scriptures, but believe in their own sufficiency as the
final authority of Christianity.
The temptation to Eve was to
question the word of god, “hath God
said”, Ge 3:1.
THE ‘NEW’ APOSTLES ARE THEOLOGICAL LIBERALS who believe that the Bible is unreliable and full
of errors. They have
anointed themselves as ‘the apostles’, ‘the prophets’, and consider themselves
omniscient and infallible.
That defies the scriptures,
Prov 30:5 “Every word of God is pure.” KJV
They downplay
bible doctrine
One of these ‘new’ apostles Francis said, “We have filled
people with doctrines instead of deity, we have given them manuals, instead of Emmanuelle.”
That might sound good, but it
is blasphemous. Bible doctrine is nothing more than the teachings of the Bible;
the teachings of Christ.
Mark 8:38 Jesus said, “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed
of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of
him also shall the Son of man be ashamed,” KJV
John 7:16 “Jesus answered
them, and said, My doctrine is not mine,
but his that sent me.” KJV
2 Jn 9 “He that hath
not the doctrine of Christ hath not God”
2 John 10 ”If there come any
unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed:”
One of the New Apostles refers to the Bible as yesterday's
manna; which means, ‘Stinking and worm infested’. It
is impossible to be saved with this attitude towards the Bible.
They believe Paul's words are below Jesus words in scriptures.
2 Tim 3:16 “All
scripture is given by inspiration of God,” KJV
To substantiate and justify
their bizarre unscriptural revelations they use John 1:50 “Thou shalt see
greater things than these.” John 21:25
“And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if
they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could
not contain the books that should be written. Amen.” …
So, according to them, they
say we get the rest of his words by revelation BY the Holy Spirit. In other words the Holy Spirit reveals
things not written in Bible, even things that contradict the Bible.
With this belief, you can
create your own religion. In effect,
the is Bible is virtually irrelevant and meaningless to them.
Benny Hinn’s book ‘Good
Morning Holy Spirit’, is teaching us to pray to the Holy Spirit. This is
totally unscriptural.
Matt 6:6 “when thou prayest…pray to thy FATHER…” KJV
John 16:23 “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give
it you.” KJV
The BIBLE NEVER TEACHES US TO PRAY TO THE HOLY
GHOST. The Bible teaches us that the Holy Ghost will help us
when we pray to the Father in Jesus’ name. Ro 8:26
WHEN THEY TALK OF ‘signs
and wonders’, they are not referring to what Jesus talked about in
Mark 16:15 healing the sick, casting out devils, etc., but Bizarre manifestations such as: shadows on
wall, stigmata, feathers falling, white birds appearing like the Holy Ghost,
shaking, etc. This has made Pentecost a farce and nothing like it was in
the New Testament. This has virtually
destroyed the credibility of the true miracle ministries and the operation of
the Gifts of the Spirit.
in the name of speaking by
the holy ghost They say they are speaking the very word of God.
They say they don’t bring new
doctrines, yet they do. They undermine THE central
truths of the Bible.
Prophetically THEY ARE
inventing new doctrines. They say the apostles and prophets established the
doctrine. They claim New Testament
Apostolic authority. Again, the Bible
never talks about an ‘apostolic succession’.
Today’s modern day apostles do not operate on the same authority of the
original 12 apostles who gave us the canon, the scriptures.
They will not allow their
doctrines to be judged. They say
their enemies who judge their prophecies, revelations and teachings have the
Jezebel spirit, the Judas spirit, the antichrist spirit.
They defy the scriptures. 1
Cor 14:29 “Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.” KJV
Regarding their attitude
towards the Bible, in essence it is lockstep with the secular educational
system which has even outlawed the Bible in the classroom in America and openly
teaches opposite the Bible. Most
seminaries and Bible Schools are also some of the biggest enemies of the
Bible. They are incessantly attacking
its accuracy.
THEY EXALT THE HOLY SPIRT ABOVE JESUS
The ‘new’ apostles and prophets talk about the Holy
Ghost ten times more than Jesus.
John 14:26 “But
the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance ,
whatsoever I have said unto you.” The Bible contains
the things that Jesus said.
Acts 1:8 “But ye shall
receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me” KJV The
purpose of receiving the Holy Ghost is to witness about Jesus.
The fact is that that it is
not the Holy Ghost but Jesus who is our Messiah, Savior, Redeemer, King,
etc. The Holy Ghost’s job on earth as
well as Christ’s minister’s is to exalt Jesus.
The ‘new’ apostles teach KINGDOM AUTHORITY, that is: They say a spirit Being (God and Christ)
cannot function on the Earth without flowing through a human body; therefore,
God, christ, can do nothing on earth unless they work through a man who is
alive on earth now. They say that God
has to have a man's permission to operate on the earth. This is Dominion or Kingdom Now theology which is ‘man
centered’, not Christ centered. It appeals to the humanistic teaching of
self-esteem. (The Faith Movement teaches this.

They reduce God to the level
of a man. They look at God as weak and limited who can do nothing without us.
They focus on their own greatness not Christ
Gal 1:7 “Which is not another;
but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.”

INTERCESSION
They have a heavy emphasis on
intercession and 24/7 ‘Praise and Worship’.
We know the Bible talks about
the Spirit making intercession for us and praise and worship.
Rom 8:26-27 “Likewise the
Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as
we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that
searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints
according to the will of God.” KJV
But the ‘new’ apostles,
particularly IHOP, teaches that it is OUR INTERCESSION, 24/7, that gets us to the
throne room of God and gets us God’s favor. They get heavy into Spiritual
warfare.
This literally makes WORKS our entrance to God’s favor
and miracles.
Eph 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works , lest any man should boast.” KJV
Eph 3:11-12 “According to the
eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.”

IN UGANDA THEY HAVE A PLACE CALLED
‘PRAYER MOUNTAIN’.
Christians come from all over
Uganda and Africa come to pray and intercede at Prayer Mountain. What is interesting is that instead of
spending much time praying, they meet prophets there who are prophesying over
them. A pastor friend of ours wife went
to Prayer Mountain. There she met
another pastor. She said the Holy Spirit
told them that they were true mates, so she went home and divorced her pastor
husband. This is not an isolated incident.
It is interesting, that
African ancestral religions for centuries have taught Africans to go to the
mountains and pray to the mountains to get answers to their prayers.
John 4:21-24 “Jesus saith
unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this
mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know
what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is,
when the true worshippers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to
worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth.” KJV
This has led many Christians into Contemplative, mantra repetitious prayers which comes from Buddhism
and Hinduism.
Matt 6:6-7 “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret;
and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when
ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for
their much speaking.” KJV
Mk 11:24 “When ye pray, believe ye shall
receive, and ye shall have it.”
THE NEW APOSTLES FOCUS ON BREAKING
SPIRITUAL CURSES
The truth is that when we
come to Christ, at that moment, the curse is broken. ‘We overcome now by the word of our testimony and the blood of
the Lamb’. Rev. 12:11. We don’t get
curses broken by some witchcraft type incantation or by works.
Gal 3:13 “Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse…”
Some of the new apostles
teach: cleansing property; prophetic decrees; release of power by words;
gaining spiritual inheritances that belong to aborted babies, etc. Nothing is scriptural about this. They pervert scripture to gain control over
people.
mANY FOCUS ON
Angelic visitations
Col 2:18 “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels ,
intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by
his fleshly mind,” KJV
Again, the issue is they are
emphasizing angels above Jesus.
MANY OF THEM TALK ABOUT Dreams and visions
We know that god can and does
give spiritual dreams and visions.
Joel 2:28 “And it shall come
to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons
and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams , your young
men shall see visions:”
But many dreams and
visions are not of God.
1 John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try
the spirits whether they are of God:”
Many are led by visions and
dreams instead of the Bible. This can
prove deadly. Some dreams and visions
are caused by eating too many beans late at night; drugs or demon spirits.
THE ‘NEW’ APOSTLES, in the
name of having spiritual experiences,
OFTEN PRACTICE metaphysics and mysticism OF EASTERN RELIGIONS. what is
so deadly about this is that they do this in the name of THE HOLY GHOST.
THEY control WEAK CHRISTIANS
by fear and superstition WHO ARE NOT FOUNDED IN THE WORD OF GOD, the bible. If their doctrines do
not line up with the Bible, you can take it to the bank that they are false
apostles and false prophets. 2 Jn 9
HEAVEN
SOME OF THEM DECLARE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TO HEAVEN. They
say that they can penetrate heaven to get secrets. They talk about open heavens and that heavenly visitations are
a norm to THEM.
There is no dispute that
people can and do have dreams and visions about heaven.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT PEOPLE PHYSICALLY GOING
TO HEAVEN?
Jn 3:13 Jesus said, “NO MAN HATH ASCENDED TO HEAVEN,
but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in
heaven.”
Jesus said that He is the ONLY ONE who has been to
heaven who walked on earth afterwards. When
Jesus said, ‘No man hath ascended to
heaven’, He was talking about people who have not died but are alive on
earth right now; that they have not yet been to heaven. We know as children of God when we die we
will then go to heaven.
2 Cor 5:8 “We are confident,
I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with
the Lord.” KJV
We know in Old Testament
times that people went to Paradise, but it wasn’t til Jesus’ death and
resurrection that people went to heaven. Eph 4:8
THE CHURCH
THEY TEACH THAT ‘The
church’ is now ‘Christ’ on the Earth.
For the Church to be Christ
on earth would mean that Christ is reincarnated. The
belief in reincarnation comes from
Buddhism, Hinduism and the New Age.
The leaders of the Faith Movement teach that we are the INCARNATION of God as much as Jesus Christ. (See the article: ‘The Teaching that Man is a God’ www.combineharvesting.com)
They believe in the
Deification of man, that MAN IS A GOD. They get this from the major teachers of the Faith
Movement, Hinduism and the New Age. (See the
article: ‘The Teaching Man is a God’ www.combineharvesting.com)
One of the major world
evangelist said, “When you see me, you see Jesus. When you see me, you see God.”
Another major televangelist teaches that ‘We are equal to God, equal to
Christ.’ The pastor of the largest
church in Nairobi, Kenya said on television, “You are Jesus. Tell the person next to you, you are
Jesus.” We know the Bible says ‘Christ
in us’, but WE ARE NOT JESUS. That is
blasphemy! This is New Age! (See

God’).
They teach that the ENDTIME
church is literally the fullness of Christ.
William Branham is one that taught this.
This would make the Church the Savior of the world,
not Christ. This is exactly what the Roman Church teaches about
itself. To be saved you must belong to
the Roman Church.
The
Church is the ‘spiritual’ body of Christ. The Bible teaches that Christ is the
Head of the Church. Eph:23. For
the Church to be Christ would
mean that the Church is headless. Anything without a head is dead.
Christianity without Christ is dead.
It’s impossible that we are
the fullness of Christ! We can’t walk on water; walk through walls; we are not
the Savior of the world.
1 Cor 13:9 says, “For we
know in part, and we prophesy in part.” KJV
The new apostles teach that
Jesus failed his mission on earth, but the church won't. They teach
that the church will conquer the kingdoms of the world and get the dowry for the bridegroom, Jesus. There is nothing close to that in scriptures.
This is a byproduct of the

THEY say THAT they ARE
‘Joel’s end time army’, THE last days church. This is a gross perversion of Joel 2. The ‘end time army’ that the book of Joel
talked about is the saints returning with the Lord of hosts, Christ, conquering
at the Battle of Armageddon. Read Joel
2.
they Deny the
physical return of Christ
They say Jesus
cannot come back until the church gets it right.
They use Acts 3:20-21 to
substantiate this claim: “And he shall
send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must
receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath
spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Again, they put ‘the Church’
in Christ’s stead.
They are Kingdom now, DOMINIONISTS,
redefine bible prophecy AND MOST don’t
believe in the rapture. They talk of ‘kingdom glory and power’. (This will be dealt with in the article ‘ Kingdom
now, redefining Bible prophecy’)
They don’t believe…
1 Thess 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first:” KJV
THEY BELIEVE THAT Christ
will come again ‘in’ the church not ‘for’ the church.
THEY BELIEVE
Christ WILL not conquer, BUT The church WILL conquer for Christ.
That contradicts the Bible:
Heb 2:8 “Thou hast put all
things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put
all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now
we see not yet all things put under him.” KJV
they believe
they are apart of the Melchizedek priesthood
Melchizedek was a foreshadow
of Christ. They say that they are now
of the Melchizedek priesthood. The truth is that the Melchizedek priesthood
belongs to Christ alone. They consistently maximize their
self-appointed position and minimize the uniqueness of Jesus.
THEY SAY We
will take the world for God.
They are not really talking
of winning the world to Christ. They
mean that economically and politically they will take over the world in God’s
name and rule.
THEY ARE TERRITORIAL AND SEE THEMSELVES AS ‘the
Gates of the cities’…
…the bosses of
Christianity. You have to come through
them and give them, have them approve of what you are teaching and must give
them their cut to be allowed to preach.
In effect, they are exalting themselves to be The HEAD OF THE CHURCH,
the neo-Protestant and Pentecostal popes who are not that much different than
the Roman Church. The 500 Apostles are
their Charismatic College of Cardinals.
The truth is, Eph 5:23, “Christ is the head of the church:” KJV
They believe that the ‘new’ apostles will purge the Earth of all wickedness and rebellion.
Luke 3:16, 17 Speaking of
Jesus, “Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat
into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.” KJV
The ‘new’ apostles are
putting themselves in Christ’s place.
THEY SAY the ‘new’
apostles will judge the church
John 5:22
“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:”
Again, they replace Christ with themselves.
They talk of heaven on earth.
This is the same language of
the New Age. This captures the young and naïve Christians who have been caught
up in the ‘prosperity gospel, the humanistic ‘this world’ gospel; i.e.: ‘YOUR BEST LIFE NOW’, Joel Osteen. This is ‘another gospel’. 2 Cor.11:4.
they will redeem creation and
restore the Earth
Rev 21:1 “And I saw a new
heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed
away; and there was no more sea.” KJV
The ‘new’ apostles are
following the same thinking of the New Age, that man is going to save the earth
and bring in heaven on earth.
According to the Bible, it is
Jesus the Christ who will restore the earth. Rev. 21:1.
SOME OF The ‘NEW’ APOSTLES
BELIEVE THEY will overcome death itself
That’s not what the Bible says,
1 Cor 15:26-27 “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For
HE (Christ) hath put all things
under his feet”, not some so-called
apostles feet.
If you remove Jesus Christ
from Christianity you have nothing. All cults refer to Jesus and the Bible, but
pervert His teachings and minimize Him.
Our salvation, eternal destiny is determined by what we believe about
Jesus and the Bible.
THE ‘NEW’ APOSTLES ARE SAYING THAT THERE
WILL BE A CIVIL WAR IN CHRISTIANITY
They say that there will be a
change in Christianity; that is, a new definition of Christianity. They say, “God is changing
Christianity”. “GOD IS DOING A NEW
THING”. The war they are waging is to
literally remove belief in the Bible and the divinity of Christ from
Christianity.
That contradicts the scriptures.
Luke 21:33 “Heaven and earth
shall pass away: but my words shall not
pass away.” KJV
Rev 22:19 “And if any man
shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take
away his part out of the book of life , and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book.” KJV
Heb 13:8 “Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
Mal 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not;”
WARNING
THE ‘NEW’ APOSTLES TALK
nothing about suffering for Christ or taking up your cross; the blood;
or keeping God’s Commandments; unless it is just trying to obtain God’s favor
by works.
Matt 7:15 Jesus said, “Beware
of false prophets , which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” KJV
Matt 24:24 Jesus said, “For
there shall arise false Christs
(anointed ones), and false
prophets, and shall shew great
signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” KJV
Jude 4 “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were
before of old ordained to this
condemnation, ungodly men,
turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” KJV
Jude 13 “Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own
shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of
darkness forever.” KJV
Rev 2:2 “and thou hast tried
them which say they are
apostles , and are not, and hast found
